The Art of Withdrawal: A Practice of Pratyahara

Friday 29 August 2025 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Oshun Yoga Studio, 20 Gellibrand Crescent, Reservoir

“What if, just for one evening, you let the noise of the external world fade away… and returned to you?”

In today’s fast-paced world, our senses are constantly pulled outward - to screens, to noise, to endless to-do lists. Over time, this leaves us drained, restless, and disconnected from ourselves.

This 90-minute evening immersion, The Art of Withdrawal, is your invitation to pause. To soften. To turn inward and reconnect with your deepest well of vitality.

What to Expect

This practice gently guides you into Pratyahara, one of the eight limbs of yoga. Through a combination of movement, breath, and guided rest, you’ll learn how to consciously withdraw your senses from external distractions and bring your energy home.

  • Gentle, grounding yoga to soften the body and prepare for stillness

  • Pratyahara-inspired breathwork to quiet the senses and conserve energy

  • Deeply guided Yoga Nidra for profound inner rest and renewal

This isn’t just relaxation - it’s an energetic reset. A chance to feel truly restored, centered, and alive.
